This position will support the On Board Services Food Safety and Quality team in partnering with OBS leaders to drive Food Quality Control program, visiting kitchens and catering partners to assess and evaluate food quality from preparation to finished product, and making recommendations based on observations.
Function Description

- Partner with Food Safety and Menu Development teams, and other stakeholders to implement post-menu launch audit and analysis plan to ensure selections achieve customer satisfaction by ensuring highest quality and consistency in menu delivery.
- Monitor caterer food quality performance and provide reports and feedback to caterers on a regular cadence.
- Monitor customer and flight attendant feedback and make recommendations on adjustments menus to Menu Development team for consideration.
- Provide Food Safety support by conducting periodic Food Quality Control audits in conjunction with food quality audits at station level in collaboration with Catering Operations team.
- Participate in menu presentations alongside Menu Development team to gain clear understanding of vision and execution of the menu.
Profile
- BSc or MSc degree in Food Satefy/Quality Management or similar.
- At least 3-5 years work experience in QA and/or auditing.
- Experience with menu development or culinary experience is a pre, even as work experience in catering/airline operations.
- Great communicator and interpersonal skills (able to work extensively with internal and external teams in a productive and positive manner, and comfortable in providing feedback).
- Accurate, organizational and time management skills, and flexible (variable hours in kitchens, travel, and administrative work).
