To ensure Heinz continues to deliver world class and quality food products, they are looking for Product and Packaging Development Technologist for the Value Creation team throughout the west & east R&D structures in EMEA.
You will be developing revised (and improved) current products and packaging formats in the framework of Value Creation activities in Europe and potentially support complex PAN European projects.

Key Components of the role

  • Leads technically VE projects through the Idea to Execution process until product launch (often with external partners).
  • Run benchmarking studies.
  • Translates product and packaging concepts into R&D briefings and product attributes.
  • Lead technical feasibility studies and development for new product ideas.
  • Implements cost efficient solutions for products into the production plants in cooperation with the plant technologist.
  • Responsible for Final Sign Off to ensure technical compliance, Procedures, Processes, Nutrition, Food Safety and Quality of New and Improved varieties that are brought to market.
  • Acts as competence resource to R&D’s business partners.
  • Profiel

    • Master degree in Food Technology.
    • High level of Food Technology knowledge and relevant work experience.
    • Consumer driven and creative.

    • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English, persuasive.
    • Available immediately.
