Co-manufacturers of the company produce specialized nutrition products that contribute to the well-being of vulnerable target groups (infants, elderly and sick). Updating recipes and labels to comply with the latest legislation/QFS requirements and improving processes are essential to sustain and develop the business. For FSMP (Food for Special Medical Purpose) business we are looking for a CoMan Quality Engineer to represent QFS in a project, ensuring that the latest legislation, QFS requirements for products from co-manufacturers, are sustainably met by accurately running all daily quality processes.
Functieomschrijving
- Represent the CoMan QFS function is all project related CoMan projects
- Connect to quality managers, ensure QFS inputs are well-established and understood by different departments and CoMan
- Participate technical review and risk assessment, provide quality insights, and work closely with the project team and CoMans to ensure all the non-conformity are properly tackled in the project plan
- Work closely with R&I department and co-manufacturers for root cause analysis of the non-conformities, set-up action plan to update the label and/or re-develop the recipes
- Follow up trials and relevant evaluations with R&I department and CoMans to ensure the re-developed recipes meet all quality requirements, provide inputs for risk assessment and/or solutions
- Update the finish product specification with R&I department and CoMans after the recipe modification
- Support product registration, work closely with operation team to ensure a smooth product commercialization after the label and/or recipe adjustment
Profiel
- Bachelor or Master degree in a food technical or quality related discipline
- Bachelor with at least 3 years or Master with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work independently with little supervision to achieve results effectively
- Ability to work cross-functionally within organization, to communicate effectively to all stakeholders and external parties
- Good planning and organization skills and be able to handle different tasks at the same time, previous experience of project management is a plus
- Be able to take the lead in time of challenges and structure scenarios for resolution and mitigation to steer decision
- Good MS Office skills
- Good communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
